HanariGlass Side Table

Is it an ice sculpture made of glass, or a glass sculpture shaped like ice? Either way, it is mesmerising. As if time has paused at a magical moment and refuses to let it go. Norman Trapman allows forms to emerge, then follows where they lead. An idea can travel a long way. The result speaks for itself. The form knew before the designer did. Norman Trapman rarely begins with a fixed idea. He works, observes, adjusts and lets the shape emerge. An unexpected proportion, a detail or a material can send a design in an entirely new direction.
